Course Overview: The Association of Fundraising Professionals – California Capital Chapter is pleased to offer the AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising Course in 2023. This intensive 2-day course offers a complete overview of the development function, featuring the most current information and techniques designed by experienced professionals to meet the real-world needs and challenges nonprofit organizations face every day.
Training Summary: The Fundamentals of Fundraising course consists of 7 modules taught by experienced fundraising professionals. The course is taught in an active-learning style and includes case studies and projects for groups and individuals, making the learning experience both substantive and enjoyable.
Modules include: Overview of Fundraising, Developing an Integrated Fundraising Program, Marketing for Ongoing Success, Building and Sustaining Relationships, Securing the Gift, Volunteers - Partners in Fundraising, and Management & Accountability.
This intensive 16-hour program will provide an overview of skills, techniques, and program components for individuals with 1 to 5 years of fundraising experience.

AFPCCC Cancellation/Refund Policy: You can cancel your registration and receive a partial refund minus a $5 processing fee. Cutoff date to cancel posted for each luncheon/webinar. If you find you can not make it after the 2 business day cancellation window, your registration may be used by another person but must pay the difference if applicable.

Course Over View: The Association of Fundraising Professionals – California Capital Chapter is pleased to offer the AFP CFRE Refresher Course in 2023. The course uses case studies to provide a “refresher” of the six fundraising knowledge domains and the core principles and concepts that all experienced fundraising professionals should know. Please note, you DO NOT have to be CFRE-Certified for this course to be a great option for you.
Participation in the CFRE Review Course also counts as Continuing Education credits for your CFRE examination. To learn more about CFRE International and the CFRE Examination, visit www.cfre.org.
